Halo 3 Skull Locations

-You must start from the very beginning of the level. The skull will not spawn if you start from a rally point.
-The difficulty must be on Normal, Heroic, or Legendary.
-When the skull is picked up, don’t worry if nothing happens. After you finish the level or just save and quit. Go to the campaign lobby and hit “X” to go to campaign options. You have the choice to toggle it on or off from there. Continue reading ‘Halo 3 Skull Locations’

“Pow” for Halo 3

A Florida newspaper reports that a boy allegedly punched his mom in the face after she ended his Halo 3 multiplaying session by unhooking the 360’s Wi-Fi. Yes, apparently frustrated by not being able to call people “gay” through the pre-pubescent authority of his powerful taunts/Live account, there was only one way to remedy the situation. But it gets even better! After the boy gave up his fruitless search for the wireless adapter, he went back to his room and locked the door. Mom and Dad called the authorities, but when they arrived the boy would not leave his room. The two policemen entered the room with a key, only for the boy to struggle and—you guessed it—punch one of them in the face.

He’s now in the custody of juvenile authorities for the charges of domestic violence and battery on a law-enforcement officer. But what we’d really like to see is for Bungie to ban him from Halo 3 multiplayer…though we’d hate to see those fine folks punched in the face.

Activision gives numbers

Blue chip video game publisher Activision Inc. (ATVI) will announce earnings Monday, November 5. Given recent market turbulence, shares are trading lower than they should, given Activision’s complete domination in the publishing space and its recent launch of blockbuster Guitar Hero III. Suspension For Halo 3 Drawings

How’s this for political correctness gone mad? Apparently drawings of Halo 3 are a terrorist threat – anyone see that coming? According to games site NFG, a 14-year-old boy was suspended from his school in Pittston, Pennsylvania for sketching images of Halo in a notebook.

The student from Wyoming Valley West Middle School was immediately suspended and the school called the police after the notebook was found containing ‘crudely drawn’ sketches of an assault rifle, a bomb and a map.

What do you make of all this? Were the school right to suspend the student?

Agent Arenas, the super “zero”

October 11, 2007 3:17 PM

In today’s bullets we discussed the possibility that Gilbert Arenas might be achieving high Halo rankings by setting up dummy games with friends to gain points. (I have no idea what I’m talking about, by the way.)

Dan Steinberg of the D.C. Sports Bog, in a real show-off move, confronted Arenas about it, and demanded a “60 Minutes” style confession:

“Gilbert,” I said, approximately, “people say you’re cheating at Halo 3.”"I’m cheating?” he said. “How am I cheating?”

“Gilbert,” I asked, approximately, “are you creating dummy games with two fake friends and using the wins to rack up experience points?”

“Yeah,” he said, laughing. “Yeah.”

Sigh.

“It’s a glitch,” he explained. “It’s a glitch in the game. I seen some kids that were like 600s, they won 600 Halo games and we only had that game for two weeks. And all the kids go to school. So I’m like, ‘What the hell you all doing?’ And they said that’s what they doing, two-on-two.”

UPDATE: ESPN editor Royce Webb points out I should have called this post “Gilbert Arenas Halo-baloo.” He’s right. That would have been better.

Alone

So we are playing this red team (at the time) and the guys were talking trash. We got in to the game and about half way through, 75% of the red team quit on this guy. I felt bad for him because it is a terrible feeling when you are in the midst of the game fighting the fight and your teammates (which ever one they assigned you) leaves you. Why would you quit anyway? I believe you lose experience points when you do that. My account has a -1 simply because I believe I gain experience when I’m getting pummeled by another team. Bungie may not add a plus one but “you” learn from the battle. So now the game became 4 on 1. So we took some shots. Don’t quit on your teammates!!!

From top to bottom we have: xxwisd0mxx, Havenshalo, Devilish06 and xxUriahxx (me).

Alright Last one:

I was trying to figure out how I can tell the dudes apart. I know what I look like and wisd0m rocks the EVA helmet (if I’m not mistaken). Haven likes to sniper and has the Hayabusa shoulder blades and Devilish has the star wars like helmet. I may be confused by I think I’m pretty close.
