Castle Crashers: King Pack

Downloaded the king pack today. Its awesome of course. I’m currently playing with the king. His power is pretty cool; he heals. I’m also using the new gold sword.  For more information visit go here.

Ninja Gaiden II: Mission Complete

First and foremost I would like to thank the crew at X3F for posting the ad about Ninja Gaiden II being 9.99 in the best buy circular. I posted earlier that I thought that getting the game for this price was a “while supplies last” deal but I decided to go on a little mission. I called my local Walmart to see if they would match the Best Buy price. The Rep said to bring him proof that it is that price (He must be from Missouri) so I did. I went to the electronics section and saw the guy that I spoke to and he called the store manager.

Castle Crashers DLC

I thought that I was going to wait forever! Available this Wednesday for 160 points is the first DLC for Castle Crashers called the Castle Crashers: King Pack. I will assume that the King character is in there but we shall see soon enough. Sporting the King as you castle crash is great but what about the King’s scepter? The DLC will have 3 new weapons including a gold sword but that doesn’t sound like its the scepter to me! We all know that the King doesn’t really drop it when you are playing the game as some say (very frustrating). Maybe just maybe if you contact me via skype or live and I just happen to find you online (somehow), and you bring an offering (of some sort) one of my knights may give you a gift; Maybe!

Ninja Gaiden II For 9.99

Ninja Gaiden 2 is currently going for 9.99 at Best Buy. I checked the best buys near me and unfortunately they are out. I hope they get some more so I can take advantage of such a great deal but I’m gonna assume its a “while supplied last” situation. Those who were fortunate to pick it up make sure you do an “Izuna Drop” for me.

No Windows For Mr. Shuttleworth Or Me

I recently came across this article about the man behind Ubuntu (pronounced 00-boon-too) and it was a great read. I didn’t know how Mark became the billionaire that he is today until I read the article. In 1999 Verisign bought out his company thawte consulting which a major purchase at 575 million . Through some additional ventures and capital he became a billionaire at 26. April 2008 was the last time I actually had a windows machine for my very own usage. My Laptop ran Hardy and now it runs Intrepid. Every unit at my home runs ubuntu or some sort of linux software except for my wife’s laptop (work related applications). With all the applications available in the Ubuntu repository, I am very content in my no windows world.

Xmugen

Recently the recently released street fighter available to the xbox live marketplace has resurrected my interest in the xmugen and 2D fighting overall. From what I gathered this mugen runs on a modded box and it is linux based. I remember a while back I got an xmugen Iso but I was not able to get it to work because it froze on me every time I attempted to load it. If you guys out there in the mugen world have some relevant information for me in regards to this I would greatly appreciate it. Here is a fight that I came across:
